- Student/Leaner Member
Employed by an Employer and who is learning the occupation of vehicle damage quantification by being trained by an experienced COMPETENT Estimator or Assessor.
Eligibility:
➢ Enrolment: Must be currently enrolled in a recognised educational institution in South Africa.
➢ Field of Study: The course of study should be relevant to Vehicle Damage Quantification, Automotive Technology, or a Related Field.
➢ Proof of Enrolment: Required to provide a valid student ID or a letter from the educational institution confirming active enrolment.

The minimum criteria for entering the VDQGBSA includes but is not limited to the following.
To be recognised as a Practicing Vehicle Damage Quantifier, the applicant must have the following minimum qualifications and experience:
Grade 12 and minimum 1,5 years’ vehicle damage quantification experience less than 5 years’
Grade 10 minimum 2 years’ vehicle damage quantification experience less than 7 years’ Related trade qualification (Automotive Body Repairer and or Automotive Mechanic) with” minimum of 1 years with vehicle damage quantification experience less than 5 years’
Related trade qualification (Auto Electrical and Spray Painter) with minimum 2 years with vehicle damage quantification experience less than 7 years’
No Related qualification with minimum 5 years with vehicle damage quantification experience
