Welcome to the new VDQGBSA user-friendly Training and Continuing Professional Development (CPD) System, designed specifically for our Professional Members.

Getting Started
All Professional Members should have received an email from cpd@acdevelop.co.za containing:
- Instructions on how to log into the system.
- A temporary password (which can be changed after your first login).
- A link to a step-by-step video guide explaining how to use the system.
If you have not received this email, please send a request to cpd@acdevelop.co.za with your full name and surname and membership number , and the login information will be resent to you.
The new system offers a wide range of features designed to improve your learning experience and simplify the management of your CPD activities, including:
- Interactive CPD learning content.
- Immediate certificate generation upon successful completion of a quiz or assessment.
- Personal CPD progress tracking.
- Comprehensive training reports for both individual members and companies, including the recording of approved off-system CPD activities.
- A Document Library containing VDQGBSA policies and other important reference documents.
- An Events Calendar with all VDQGBSA meetings, training events, and important dates.
- An integrated communication system for member notifications and updates.
Current Development Status
Please note that the system is currently in the final stages of development. The following features are still being finalised:
- Carry-over of surplus CPD points from the previous CPD cycle.
- Certificates issued on the previous CPD system will not be available on the new system.
- However, members will be able to download an Activity Report, which reflects all CPD activities completed on the previous system.
- Automated issuing of Letters of Good Standing.
- Additional learning content, including the Mechanical Training Programme and other technical training modules.
We appreciate your patience and understanding as we complete the final enhancements to the system. We are confident that the new platform will provide a significantly improved learning experience and assist members in managing their Continuing Professional Development more effectively.
