The minimum criteria for entering the VDQGBSA includes but is not limited to the following.

To be recognized as a Practicing Vehicle Damage Quantifier, the applicant must have the following minimum qualifications and experience:

Grade 12 and a minimum of 18 Months’ vehicle damage quantification experience.
Grade 10 and a minimum of 2 years’ vehicle damage quantification experience.
Related Trade qualification (Automotive Body Repairer and or Automotive Mechanic) with” minimum 18 Months vehicle damage quantification experience.
Related Trade qualification (Auto Electrical and Spray Painter) with minimum of 2 years of vehicle damage quantification experience.
No Related qualification with minimum of 5 years of vehicle damage quantification experience.

The applicant will go through the VDQGBSA recognition and assessing process before being awarded this designation.
